HVOF
HVOF is an advanced thermal spray process used to apply wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant coatings to industrial components.
Services:
High velocity oxy/fuel is a cold thermal spray process that uses high gas pressure and extremely high velocity to produce very dense coatings. The process requires no preheat of components during application the low heat input helps prevent distortion of the base material.
Hvof coatings have been increasingly considered as an alternative to hard chrome plating. Hvof can also be used to build up, rebuilding and refurbishing of parts that were previously discarded.
Applications where this process is currently utilized include mixer blades, hydraulic cylinders, piston rods, printing rollers, conveyors, pumps, and many other applications where extreme wear and corrosion conditions exist.
HVOF applied coatings offer
- Excellent wear resistance
- High hardness
- High bond strength
- Fine surface finishing capability
- Improved corrosion resistance
- High density coating
